Our cattle are cross bred, meaning they are half Black Angus crossed with another breed, such as Simmental and Shorthorn, for a focus of good maternal instinct, parasite resistance, and fast yielding stocky built calves.

Looking for breeding and/or show stock?

Our cows are bred to calve around March every year.  We sell our feeder calves and any bull(s) and cows we are offering in late September/early October.  Contact us to learn more.

Looking for meat to fill your freezer?

Annually we will have a couple steers available for finishing out to butcher.  Contact us to see if we have any butcher ready steers available or be put on our waiting list for a whole or half a beef.

Beef, it's what's for dinner...

Below is a beef chart identifying the various cuts you will get from a finished out steer, roughly 1,200 lbs of live weight at the time its ready for butchering.  As noted on the chart, the hanging weight is roughly half of what the animal weighed on the hoof alive.  When considering purchasing a whole or half a beef, please keep the hanging weight in mind when estimating the pounds of meat you will receive.
